St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

I have just received confirmation of our finishing position in this year’s Priory Central Venue Competition and am delighted to announce that the ‘A’ team finished top of their mini-league, the 2nd-tier ‘Championship’, after a successful final night’s results against Our Lady & St Gerard’s, Cop Lane & St Oswald’s. This is a fantastic achievement considering that the majority of the team is made up of Year 5 pupils. May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Phil, our brilliant sports coach (we are so lucky to have him as part of our staff) for coaching the team throughout the year and to all the parents who helped with lifts and supported the boys - you have all been rewarded with some fabulous football. Well done to the following boys - we are very proud of you: Theo Hardacre, Ethan Hodges, Stanley Keller, Daniel Marland, Kamsi Nwagbologu, Edward Owens, Alfie Ramm, Isaac Roberts, Liam Straker and Isaac Whittle.
