St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

Congratulations to the tag-rugby team who finished third in the Hutton Grammar Central Venue League. They achieved a total of 19 points (won 6, drew 1, lost 1). Their only loss came on the last night of competition against a very talented New Longton All Saints team. The squad of ten pupils (boys and girls) improved their skills week-by-week but also developed a fantastic team spirit throughout the competition. As a result of this achievement, they have now qualified for the South Ribble Borough Finals. We are very proud of you all: Patrick Busby, Dominic Flanagan, Ollie Fleming, Maddie Hawtin, Liz Lakatos, Camille Legaspi, Nathan Lund-Ribbands, Isaac Prout, Ka-Fai Wan and Malakhiyah Wilson-Berry. A big thank you to Phil for doing such a tremendous job of coaching the team. Thank you also to all the parents who supported the team throughout the competition.
