This morning we had a visit from The Dog’s Trust who came to teach us how to be “Dog Safe”.
We learned all about how dogs see, hear and smell the world around us. We learned that a dog’s most powerful sense is its sense of smell - which is 50 times more sensitive than a human’s!
We also learned not to approach dogs in a way that might startle them, and to be safe & kind when caring for them.
The Dog's trust will be visiting other classes and there will be an assembly too - look out for updates from other year groups too.
