We had a lovely start to the term by taking advantage of the gorgeous, crisp winter morning and taking a walk to the River Ribble.
We had a lovely start to the term by taking advantage of the gorgeous, crisp winter morning and taking a walk to the River Ribble.
We took time to be quiet and listen to the sounds of the river, take in our surroundings and explore all of our senses.
Our visit to the river launched our topic for this term, Lancashire.
We will be looking at what makes Lancashire great and learning about rivers.
In literacy we will be using the vocabulary we gathered today to write a poem about a river.
We're looking forward to starting our new topic and learning all about Lancashire.
