This week we have taken part in a whole-school vote about whether cars should be able to use our playground.
We were able to practise the fundamental British value of democracy by voting on this important decision. We held class debates about the reasons for and against, before casting our secret votes in the school ballot box.
We know that there are lots of things to consider when deciding how to vote on such important issues. For example, the environmental impact and the effect on our local community.
We also know that lots of people's opinions will be taken into account before the final decision is made, but we are glad that the pupils were able to have our voice heard too!
