On Tuesday afternoon, 4 children from Year 3 and 4 took part in an afternoon of friendly tennis run by South Ribble Sports Partners.
The session began with a series of fun warm up activities that involved running, dodging sponge tennis balls and star jumps. The children then worked through a series of tennis skills workshops focussing on balance, control, forehand, backhand and serving. After this, the children played doubles matches against children from other schools. They even partnered with the other schools to form mixed teams. All the children were a credit to the school, listened well, tried their best and made super progress. It was a great opportunity and everyone had an energetic time. Thank you South Ribble Sports!
