This morning we took part in a virtual assembly by two ladies from Cafod. Christine and Justine took us on a journey around the world to see how World Gifts can help lots of different people to live a better life.
As part of our preparation for Advent, we are asking for children to bring in a Christmas card to their class and a small donation towards their class World Gift Fund. The class will then decide how they would like to spend their money.
The ladies this morning gave some super suggestions and I know that (just as in previous years) our school will rise to the challenge of carrying out our Catholic Mission of ‘helping our neighbour.’
The last day for donations is this Wednesday, the 10th of December. Please send them in a clearly marked envelope with your child’s name and class on. Then the children will decide what to buy and we will let you know next week what wonderful choices have been made.
