Year 6 have started off the Christmas preparations.
This week, we have made our Christmas cards. We looked at scripture from both Matthew and Luke, who recounted the events of Jesus’ birth. Using compasses, we measured and drew circles of specific diameters onto copies of the scripture, selecting sections of the text which stood out to us.
We then used these circles to create baubles for our cards. We wanted our cards to be similar to the nativity scene: beautiful yet simple.
