Well done to the football team
We won our first two matches in the league tonight. Beating St Teresa's 4-2 and Longton 1--0.
Phil reports that the whole team were magnificent but wanted a special mention for Olivia who was immense in defence then amazing up front and for Joshua in goal who made three heroic saves in the second match to keep us in the lead. Goals were scored by Jaiden, Lucas and Max.
"The team spirit, togetherness and attitude was a joy to watch, and after the game I told them all that they could go to bed and be proud of themselves and their school for facing defeat in the face and battling with everything they had against it. I walked away feeling 10 feet tall, bursting with pride. " Phil.
