How nutritious are our meals?

We have been learning about what we need to stay healthy…Ask your child to see if they can remember… a balanced diet, exercise, air, sleep, water, keeping clean. We also looked at which foods are better for us than others and compared two menus to see what the different foods gave our bodies.  We have started to learn about vitamins and minerals, proteins, fibre and carbohydrates and how they all help our bodies to stay healthy.

There have been some good discussions in class. Well done children!
