St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School

We launched our anti bullying week with Blue Monday where the children all wore blue. Monday is statistically a day more bullying in schools happens. This is often because the bullies may have had a bad weekend and come to school in emotional turmoil. In our school we understand that bullying is targeted and repeated nastiness, not when children fall out. The children have learned how destructive bullying can be to lives but more importantly they have learned how to ensure that it never happens to them. We do this work every year as we feel it is so important to equip children with the skills to cope with intimidating situations. We have complied a book of our work for parents to read in the entrance hall.
