Earlier this week we completed our topic on Minibeasts by taking a trip down to the wildlife area to build some minibeast dens.
The children enjoyed finding sticks to weave and leaves to disguise.... Looking at the size of the dens, though... they would have been more suitable for dragons!!!
We also went to the garden to create minibeasts from sticks, pebbles, leaves and bark. We had to guess what each other had made and be able to name the different body parts.
Well done... even soggy feet couldn’t dampen their enthusiasm!
