Our theme this year is ‘helping others’.
Christmas Shoebox Appeal
We would like to join in with the Christmas shoe box appeal this year and would like to make up 1 shoe box for each class that we can send off. We would be very grateful if you could send in the following items:
- WEAR: eg. scarf, woolly hat, gloves, underwear
- WRITE: eg. crayons, pencils, paper, colouring books
- WASH: eg. toothpaste, toothbrush, facecloth, soap etc.
- WOW: eg. a game, puzzle, or sweets.
Our school council will then make up the shoeboxes and I will drop them off at Church on Sunday 10th November. If you have any empty shoeboxes these will also be greatly received.
Plastic bottle tops
Our second appeal is for plastic bottle tops. Over the next couple of months, we're going to be collecting plastic bottle tops. These bottle tops can then be exchanged as tokens towards helping disabled children such as Nicholas being able to get a wheelchair. Please send your clean bottle tops with your children and they can add them to the class collection.
