Well done to the Girls Cricket Team who enjoyed a fabulous morning at Penwortham Cricket Club. It was not only the sunshine that brought a smile to my face as the girls represented the school with the right attitude, commitment and behaviour throughout. It was notable just how much the team improved from game to game – all the players improved their technique and, despite not qualifying for the semi-finals, they did win their last group game. Well done girls and thank you to the parents who came along to support the team/top-up their tan! A big thank you also goes to Mr Collins (who was at the event) and Phil Walsh for preparing the team so well.
