Today the whole school have received a drumming lesson as part of our Black History month learning.
Year 6 have been learning to play the Djembe drum. They all enjoyed it and we had some wonderful music and rhythm going on.
A djembe is a rope-tuned, skin-covered goblet drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. Djembe means everyone gathers together in peace.
