Year 5 have been making ‘Cam Toys’
Year 5 were challenged to make a rainforest-themed toy that used cams to create movement. The children enjoyed learning about how turning a handle can create an up/down movement to make their toys come to life!
The children developed their skills by planning and designing their toys and then demonstrated just how creative they can be by building and decorating their toys with bright colours. The children really enjoyed this project and have shown real engineering skills by building and problem solving as they built their toys.
