This week Year 5 have been writing wonderful poetry inspired by the award-winning book, ‘The Lost Words’
The children worked as busy as bees, digging deep to complete their acrostic poems, which used features such as, metaphors, repetition, alliteration and similes.
They have all produced some excellent work that they should be very proud of.
Well done year 5, you have ended the half term on a high!
