As part of this week’s DT projects, Year 5 designed and built a structure using wood.
The children started by creating their own simple design for a shelter. They then had to accurately measure and cut the wood before constructing and strengthening their designs.
The class enjoyed learning how to safely use hacksaws and glue guns before they could create their amazing structures. The finished products were fantastic and a credit to the hard work put in by everyone.
