This week in RE we looked at ‘ecumenism’ – the principle that Christians from different denominations can work together to promote Christian unity.
We recognised that our class is a community of God’s children. Even though we may not be together all the time, we are individually important to God, and we are united as one in Christ.
We wrote prayers for unity in our local area and across the world. We also considered our own part in the mission that Jesus gave us all - to spread the word of God.
