Year 1 have been developing their mathematical language as they practised ordering objects.
The children had to order the objects and had to describe what they were doing using the words smallest and greatest.
Can you challenge your child to describe objects that they see around the house. Use every day items and ask them which amount is the smallest? Which amount is the greatest?
