Year 6 will be looking at life cycles of animals and plants this half term. We are starting by studying a range of plants and will be looking at several different processes which can take place during reproduction. Tomorrow, year 6 will use their observation skills on their own plant, brought from home, and they will create a detailed Linnaean illustration using watercolours. They will then carefully dissect a flower to identify the different parts which are essential for the reproduction to take place.
