Uniform

Pupils at St Mary Magdalen's take pride in being part of our school family and enjoy demonstrating their commitment to our school by adhering to our school uniform policy. A copy of the policy can be found below. 

Pupils have a 'regular' school uniform and a PE uniform. Before the start of every half term, parents/carers will receive a message from the class teacher sharing the days for the PE uniform, which children wear all day - this saves vital learning time and is comfortable throughout the school day.

Between the Easter holiday and October half term, crossing the Summer holidays (i.e. April to October), pupils have the option of their 'regular' school uniform being replaced with the summer uniform, which is based on the PE uniform.

The only items that are branded with our school badge are the jumper/cardigan, PE hoodie, and polo shirt. All of these items can be replaced with any unbranded retail option in the same colour.

Pupils often misplace bits of their uniform, so please make sure that every item is clearly labelled. Our 'lost property' storage is near the School office - please just ask!

As part of our sustainability work in school, we collect school uniform in good condition and regularly offer these to all of our families for re-use.

Uniform with our school logo can be purchased from Justs Clothing in Penwortham. The other items of our uniform are items that are readily available from a number of retail outlets at a range of prices. If you have any problems with purchasing school uniform, please contact the school office - we are here to help!
