    We saw the old workhouse and where the train and tram bridges used to be. We saw different styles of houses and date stones. People used to pay a penny to catch a boat across the River. Penwortham Holme used to be a horse racing track surrounded by water.

    Our story sack this week was the three little pigs, we had great fun huffing and puffing, we make a large chalk picture together of our pigs’ houses.

    Thank you to everyone who kindly sent cakes into school this morning for our annual MacMillan Coffee Morning (but in the afternoon...) and thanks to everyone who managed to come along and support this wonderful charity.

    Year 3 and children on a Monday lunch time have done some amazing hard work tidying the garden however there is still lots to do. This week we planted some spring bulbs, we shall be planting them in our wild area which now has a new fence

    We had great fun playing with musical instruments today, along side reading Giraffes can't dance. The children are settling very well. 
  • Y5 & 6 Girls Football
    The girls provided a real feast of football tonight winning 2 games and being narrowly beaten by the competition winners in their third game.
