Reading Around School

We absolutely LOVE reading at St Mary Magdalen's!

Each class have some amazing books linked to our topics and we also have some of our favourites books in class too.

We have our incredible library that we are developing this year, where we like to borrow a book and take it to one of our beautiful reading spaces around school. You can see some of those below.

As well as our teachers, we are lucky to have an army of reading volunteers who come into school and read with classes every week.

Parents - There is no better gift than helping your child to read, at the bottom of this page you will se some tips for enjoying those moments together. Please if you need any help with supporting your child at home with reading, do let us know. We want to encourage children to read but we also want to develop a love of picking up a book and losing yourself to another world!
