A terrible weather forecast did not stop play.
Thank you so much to Becky, the staff, governors and to Mrs Morris and Mrs Skeoch for braving the wild weather to help breathe new life into our school garden.
They all put on their wellies, gardening gloves and waterproofs in order to remove weeds, dead plants and broken planting beds. Together they filled a skip, drank multiple cups of tea, munched on barbecued bacon barmcakes and enjoyed getting stuck into the task at hand.
A fun, fresh air filled day was had by all.
There is still lots to do, but we will be enlisting help from the children as part of our Environmental Guardians sessions throughout the term.
