This week we took delivery of a class set of our current novel, "The Explorer" by Katherine Rundell.
The exciting adventure story follows the events that unfold when a group of 4 children survive a plane crash in the Amazon rainforest. We are loving the story so far, and cannot wait to find out what happens to the characters next.
We have also been learning how authors use figurative language such as metaphors, similes and alliteration. We have been using the techniques to improve our writing.
