We had a lovely walk exploring our local area.
Following our school geography trail the children were able to explore our local area. They had to answer questions and follow the orienteering clues to find the answers. Part way through our walk a lady came out of her house and showed the children an old photograph of the area. It showed her house and the old boatyard, she explained that the boat in the picture was used to cross the river and people had to pay 1p for the trip.
The children were amazing and respectful throughout the walk. We had a lovely time and found out lots of information. Please ask your child about the walk.
